Marketecture Packs a Solid Punch in Prestigious B2B Awards
North West specialist b2b, creative design and marketing support agency Marketecture, has been shortlisted in this year’s B2B Marketing Awards.
The awards, which are organised by B2B Marketing Magazine, are now in their 5th year and give special recognition to those marketers and agencies which demonstrate excellence in B2B marketing. With over 250 entrants to the awards, Marketecture is one of only six agencies shortlisted in the ‘best use of direct mail category’, for our integrated ‘fight back’ campaign.
Launched in early 2009 to help generate fresh leads and attract new business, ‘fight back’ used personalised URLs (pURLs) to drive recipients to a bespoke website and was designed to appeal to those marketers who recognised the benefits of marketing during difficult economic circumstances, but wanted something original and cost-effective to achieve maximum ROI.
Developed in direct response to the economic climate, the campaign used a ‘boxing’ theme to tie in imagery, messaging and promotional products, and issued a personal challenge to every recipient to join the campaign and employ the latest marketing tactics to ‘fight back’ against the recession.
Using various tactical pieces to drive people to a personalised website, the campaign achieved a 30% (click-through) rate, generating a resounding 5900% return on investment. In addition a further 21 new business meetings have been held so far as a direct result of the campaign.
The winners will be announced in November this year.
