Marketecture goes back to school in its new
Urban Splash home

Marketecture has taken up residence in its new premises, following a period of expansion and a number of key appointments to the team.

The agency’s new home, The Schoolhouse, was as its name suggests, originally a school, built in 1914 to serve a community of 3,000 people who lived in The Village, then a unique residential area of Trafford Park. In the mid-nineties, Urban Splash won an RIBA award for its sympathetic restoration of the Schoolhouse into contemporary offices, featuring vaulted ceilings, exposed brickwork and landscaped seating areas outside.

Marketecture’s new home at no.6 Schoolhouse, was an easy choice for the agency, as Managing Director Michael Clark explains: “We’ve never been a company to follow the crowd and didn’t feel the need to base ourselves in Manchester City Centre. Our priority was to find somewhere accessible for our team and our clients and the Schoolhouse, based just off the M60 and with its unusual history and plenty of natural light, was ideal.

“Marketecture is expanding and we have plans in place to take on further staff over the next few months; at the Schoolhouse we have plenty of capacity to bring in new members to the team.” Marketecture For more information please get in touch.
